About me The Creator

I’m Victor Dumitrescu! I’m an international photographer from the Transylvania region of Romania. I grew up in the small town of Zarnesti which is at the foothills of Piatra Craiului in the Carpathian Mountains range. My photography focus is landscapes, international travel, and international events. I have been specializing in events photography while living in South India with my family at the foothills of the Velliangiri mountains.  Being a photographer at Isha Yoga Center for Sadhguru (world-renowned yogi, mystic, and visionary) has been a blessing in many ways. Documenting spiritual growth through photography has been my main pursuit in the past seven years while living at Isha Yoga Center. I’ve had the opportunity to capture large events with a million people and also very intimate small events, yoga classes and ultimately connecting with people through photography. My goals as a photographer now incorporate my love of majestic landscapes and working with volunteers to capture their spiritual stories in a creative way. I have learned how to listen, incorporate, and create beautiful images that can tell a story and touch people's lives. This entire process helped me create a guide to teaching photography and bring the "wisdom" I have picked up along the way in the form of a photography workshop that I want to share with you.

I want to bring my creative mind to you by being present in the moment with the people that surround me. By letting photography take us to a place of authenticity where we can learn how to create a unique story and bring that to life through photography. I believe that pictures capture of a moment in time that we can visit again and tell a story where words are not needed. We can share this vision with the world and keep the intimate moments as well. I enjoy taking my camera for long hikes in search of beautiful light and scouting for new places to share with others. I often find myself left behind in a group hike capturing a beautiful moment in nature, making notes, and returning to secret spots. I hope to be able to share these special spots with you
