👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Meet Our Family

We’re a family of five who thrive on adventure, connection, and discovery—

both in nature and in community.

Victor, born and raised in Zărnești, Romania, grew up exploring the Carpathian Mountains and brings his deep love for photography, hiking, and Romanian culture into every experience we create. Noelle, originally from sunny Florida, USA, has spent over a decade coaching football/soccer internationally. With a background in Educational Leadership and a heart for meaningful family experiences, she’s passionate about creating opportunities for young people to grow through travel.

Our three kids—Kenzie (15), Kai (14), and Ocean (10)—have been worldschooling since they were little and bring their own spark to our community: Kenzie is a talented musician, artist, and soccer player who loves to capture the world through a camera lens—a skill she’s developed alongside her dad. Kai is a true soccer enthusiast who plays any chance he gets and loves making new friends through sports. Ocean, our youngest, is an imaginative storyteller, avid reader, and enthusiastic goalkeeper who’s always ready to share a fun fact or dive into a new book.

As a global worldschooling family, we value connection, cultural immersion, and learning through real-life experiences.

🌿 What to Expect: A Family-Inclusive, Immersive Experience

Whether you're a teen, tween, parent, or younger sibling, you'll be part of a vibrant Worldschool community. Based in a mountain village, this program blends culture, nature, creativity, and connection in a way that engages the whole family.

🏔️ You’ll uncover hidden treasures nestled within traditional Romanian village life, where unpaved paths, rustic homes, and time-honored customs are part of daily life. Wander through the breathtaking Carpathian trails and take in the serene beauty of shepherd-filled valleys, horse-drawn carts, hand-stacked haystacks, and the rhythm of rural living.

🏰 At the base of the mountain, you can explore the legendary Bran Castle—famously linked to the Dracula legend—and dive into the charm of the surrounding areas that offer their own slice of authentic Transylvanian culture.

🏞️Your adventure also extends to the vibrant city of Brașov, known for its medieval Saxon fortifications, the imposing Gothic-style Black Church, colorful Baroque architecture, and cozy cafés and restaurants tucked along cobblestone streets.

👫 Teen & Tween (Ages 10–17) Program Highlights:

Our program is designed to be both family-inclusive and independently enriching. Teens and Tweens join the group 4 mornings a week for a mix of creative, active, and cultural activities—giving them space to connect, explore, and just be themselves while still enjoying the rhythm of family life.

👣 Weekly Family Field Trips – Explore hidden gems, cultural sites, and nature as a family while creating shared memories in the heart of Transylvania.

🥘 Family Potluck Nights – Bring a favorite dish, swap stories, and enjoy the laughter and flavors of a diverse, global table.

🔥 Traditional Romanian BBQ Night – Gather around the fire and join in as we prepare, cook, and celebrate authentic Romanian dishes and desserts together.

🛒 Village Market Adventures – Visit local markets to discover fresh produce, handmade goods, and tasty regional treats.

🌼 Foraging & Forest Magic – Pick wildflowers and herbs for homemade juice and traditional crafts, connecting with nature hands-on.

🎲 Family Game Nights – Unplug and unwind with games, laughter, and friendly competition under the stars.

🚗 Transportation Required

As we are based in a mountain village community, it is essential that your family has your own transportation for the duration of the program.

We recommend renting a Dacia Duster or a similar type of vehicle that can comfortably handle the terrain and winding mountain roads of the region.

We’re located just 45 minutes from Brașov Airport and 3 hours from Bucharest Airport.
